Here is another inspiring story of an Overseas Filipino Worker in Kuwait.

According to Lhorie, her grandmother took care of her ever since her father passed. She was 1 year old back then. Her mother, who got married later on, took her older sister. Lhorie felt jealous but was left without a choice.
Since then, Lhorie’s life became a living hell.
Ever since she was a child, she dreamed of going to Dubai. That dream pushed her to pursue her studies despite all the hardships in life.
During summer vacations, she goes out to work. She became a housemaid. She used her earnings to finance her studies. Lhorie also did other jobs to earn money.
Unfortunately, when she reached 3 year high school, Lhorie was influenced by her friends to try different vices, prompting her to stop studying.
